Job Description:

The Technical Program Manager, and coordinates the commercial and development activities of the three CTCA Health Businesses.  This individual develops implementation plans, maintains individual and overall schedules, manages risk and mitigation plans, and is accountable for the successful execution of the business unit’s operating plan.  This person must be able to develop relationships with business leaders, clinicians, engineers, and partners. To be successful the right individual will demonstrate entrepreneurship, initiative, and creativity and will find ways to get results. Oftentimes there will be ambiguity on what needs to be done and the program manager will need to work collaboratively and iteratively with different stakeholders to figure out the appropriate approach.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage client (Data, Marketplace, and Value Based Care) relationships for health plan clients to retain and grow the business
    • Accountable for delivery of Program Management services on all client engagements
    • Through influential leadership, take responsibility for client satisfaction within Member Engagement
    • Create close client relationships spanning executive leadership to key team members with health plan clients
    • Create effective communication plans and joint client-CTCA leadership committees to ensure senior leadership alignment, long-term planning and development, operational execution monitoring, and effective escalation and issue resolution
  • Build partnerships within the organization to support the retention of clients within the commercial lines of business portfolio
    • Ensure timely communication of project performance throughout Project Engagement.
    • Work with Enterprise Technology to identify and develop solutions that support the growth and development of the commercial lines of business
  • Develop and deliver scalable, quality processes and controls
    • Partner with CTCA leadership to develop and enhance client-facing and internal processes
    • Be responsible for developing and maintaining the organization’s budget and tracking spend
    • Partner with adjacent CTCA divisions to develop and enhance client-facing and internal processes
  • Develop and lead a team of high functioning Program Managers (Future)
    • Develop and maintain an organization with clear focus on client engagement success
    • Ensure clear expectations of team members and provide regular quantitative and qualitative performance feedback using performance metrics feedback process

Skills, Education and Additional Information

  • Bachelor’s degree in is required - ideally in a healthcare or technology discipline.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) highly desired
  • PMP certification preferred ideally in an agile product development organization
  • 3-5 years of experience in technology, care delivery, or both is preferred
  • Experienced in managing teams responsible for client relationships in customer centric organizations
  • Excellent Project Management skills in a high demand, rapidly changing business environment
  • Track record of building and developing effective client facing teams including building resource models to optimize their effectiveness
  • Exceptional communications skills both verbal and written
  • Business and Technology Integration knowledge to include offshore responsibilities
