Job Description:

The Revenue Cycle Junior Application Analyst observes, reviews, and evaluates user’s needs as they relate to revenue cycle systems.  The role will support basic configuration and maintenance of various revenue cycle systems. Sits on Project Meetings as assigned and assists with upgrades and changes to these systems.  The Junior Analyst will be responsible for the basic support of all applications in the stream. They will be the Subject Matter Expert for at least 2 - 3 of these applications. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to: standing configuration additions and changes to the systems, documenting functional and technical requirements, conducting system testing, helping to compile documentation for user manuals.

1. Works with the customer and site analysts to document system requirements of requested changes or additions to the software.  Assists with the development of technical solutions to satisfy those requirements and system testing.      

2. Works with the team and vendors to stay current on product features and upgrades.  Using the Patient Management Advisory Panel roadmap information, he/she assists in education of the CTCA end-users on available new system functionality.

3. Responsible for application configuration.  Monitors system configuration effectiveness and makes recommendations for potential system changes that will improve overall business process.  Utilizes prescribed department processes to report anomalies, errors, inaccuracies or inefficiencies.  

4. Collaborates with the user community and IS leadership to provide support for systems, projects and initiatives. 

5. Communicates and collaborates with internal and external customer base promoting a transparent work environment for all IS initiatives. 

6. Maintains and publishes system documentation and procedures for applications managed by the Patient Management Services team.   


  • Associates Degree or higher in Health Care or IT related field, preferred, or equivalent years of experience
  • 1+ years of IT or related business experience, preferred
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • General understanding of appropriate workflows, relational database concepts, and package system implementations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • MS application skills
