We are seeking a registered professional Speech and Language Pathologist dedicated to delivering individualized and comprehensive care to patients within our Acute Care and Outpatient rehabilitation departments. Utilizing a combination of therapeutic techniques, technological innovation, and patient collaboration, you will play a key role in facilitating the development and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:
This is a Part-time position where you will work Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. You will be off on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays!
Provide Dysphagia rehabilitation and speech therapy in both hospital and clinical settings, tailoring interventions based on thorough assessments and written evaluations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design treatment plans appropriate to each patient's medical condition, with the goal of achieving optimal functional outcomes.
Utilize innovative technology and evidence-based practices to enhance patient rehabilitation and communication abilities.
Take responsibility for the administration and interpretation of Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS), leveraging your expertise in dysphagia management.
Work flexibly as required, maintaining availability for Monday to Friday shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Requirements:
Possession of a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology or a related field.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting, demonstrating proficiency in speech therapy and dysphagia rehabilitation.
Prior experience conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) is essential.
Certifications/Licensure:
Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Current licensure from the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in Georgia.
