Overview:

The Business Analyst will support the CTCA Web and Mobility development team and its business partners throughout the development lifecycle. This position will serve as the liaison between technical and business staff to gather and document functional and technical requirements, map process flows, develop user manuals, and perform QA testing. The analyst will also support development efforts through facilitation of daily standup meetings, sprint planning, and user story grooming.

  • Serves as the liaison between the development team and business partners for new software development and enhancement projects
  • Obtains functional requirements from business stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Facilitates the development of software solutions and is responsible for knowledge transfer to the development team throughout the lifecycle of a change request or development project
  • Creates detailed documentation of functional, system, user, and reporting requirements such as Use Cases, Logical Models, Process Flow Diagrams, Report Specifications and Data Mapping & Flow Diagrams
  • Performs profiling and analysis of data from source systems as needed
  • Maintains product backlogs in TFS to coordinate application enhancements planned for the release schedule
  • Provides support to user groups as part of project implementation
  • Supports quality assurance and control efforts through the use of TFS as part of pre- and post-implementation review for software development projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years Business Analyst experience in a fast-paced medium to large organization
  • Provide examples demonstrating proficiency in documentation and organization techniques
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server
  • Experience with Web and Mobile development
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Ability to translate technical conversations into a language that key business partners will understand
  • Experience in documenting process flows, activity diagrams, and data models
  • User acceptance and validation testing experience
  • Advanced Excel skills required (ability to write formulas, link files, conditional formatting, lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Advanced Visio skills required (workflows, sequence diagrams, complex interconnected system diagrams, etc.)
  • Above-average PowerPoint skills required (ability to create an executive-level presentation in PowerPoint)
